Hi Philip. this is a great post with some ptrtey crucial and detailed information in it too. My question is a little off topic but on the digitizer subject: I'd like to know if the digitizer is made out of a single piece, or if it's actually covered with any protective plastic foil (as i've heard some touchscreens would have). More clearly put: i bought my diamond from someone and it came with some nasty scratches on the screen. Can that part be replaced or would that involve changing the digitizer itself? (some people told me that the top layer is just atached to the digitizer and could pe replaced). Looking forward to your reply.. Thanks a lot.Ovi
